Wade Leslie's Perfect 100-Point Bull Ride -- The Only One in PRCA History
On October 6, 1991, Washington cowboy Wade Leslie accomplished what no rider has done before or since -- he scored a perfect 100 points on the back of a 2,000-pound bull named Wolfman at the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo in Central Point, Oregon. Both judges, Russell Davis and Raymond Lewis, awarded flawless marks for the full eight-second ride. Leslie, standing just 5-foot-2 and weighing 125 pounds, held on while Wolfman -- later crowned the 1991 NFR Bucking Bull of the Year -- gave everything he had beneath him. In professional bull riding, a score of 90 is considered elite. A score of 95 happens maybe once a season. A perfect 100 has happened exactly once in the entire history of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Over thirty years later, despite the sport growing exponentially in popularity and prize money, no rider has matched it. The PRCA has sanctioned hundreds of thousands of rides since that October evening in southern Oregon, and Wade Leslie's name still stands alone at the top of the record book -- proof that some records aren't meant to be broken, just admired.
The only perfect 100-point bull ride in the history of professional rodeo. Over 30 years and hundreds of thousands of rides later, nobody has matched it.
