Graeme Jenvey's $13,000 Cabin in 55 Days
Redneck EngineeringBest improvised solution
When the pandemic shut everything down in 2020, Charlottesville filmmaker Graeme Jenvey looked at the three acres behind his house and decided to build a cabin. With self-taught woodworking skills and a $13,000 budget, he raised a 12x20-foot structure in just 55 days. His 30-minute timelapse of the build has surpassed 11 million views on the Woodness Goodness YouTube channel.
A complete, finished cabin built in under two months for roughly the price of a used car.
