Milo Hanson's World Record Typical Whitetail — 213-5/8 Boone & Crockett

On November 23, 1993, Saskatchewan farmer Milo Hanson stepped onto his own land near Biggar and dropped the largest typical whitetail deer ever recorded. With an official Boone & Crockett score of 213-5/8, the Hanson Buck featured a 27-2/8-inch inside spread and main beams measuring 28-4/8 inches each. More than three decades later, no typical whitetail has come close. Hanson passed away in February 2026 at age 81, but his legacy -- and his buck -- stand forever.

The highest-scoring typical whitetail in Boone & Crockett history, unchallenged for 30+ years.
